Tuesday Tales- Weekend Retreat- "Love"

We continue this week from Weekend Retreat- Rose was pulled over for swerving her car on the road... and she suspects the police officer saw her remote control gadget next to her on the seat. *She just had a mind-blowing orgasm over the phone from her so-called boyfriend Vinnie* Let's continue the phone call between her and Vinnie as the officer checks her license.

 “Well, he leaned in to the car to talk, was looking around at everything then when I got him my registration, I saw the remote. I just tossed it on the seat next to me. When I turned back to him, he was smiling.”

Silence filled the airwaves.

“You there? Did you hear me? I'm mortified.”

“Babe...” Vinnie broke off into laughter.

“It's not funny.” Rose started to pout.

“How could it possibly be worse? He probably thinks I'm some desperate woman, driving down the road masturbating.”

“Rose...”

“Seriously Vinnie. He probably thinks I'm some pervert.” She slammed her free hand onto her steering wheel.

“I doubt that, honey. He may not have seen it and even if he did, would he even know what it was?”

“I don't know...”

“Don't think the worse. Be positive.”

“I'm trying.” She looked up to see where the officer was at. He leaned into his car to replace the radio. “I gotta go. He's coming back.”

“Ok, call me later, baby.”

“I will. Love ya.” Rose flipped the phone shut before Vinnie had a chance to respond or not. Although he never did, she always imagined he would confess his love. This had become their normal goodbye.

Vinnie would tell her to call him later and she'd promise to then get a quick love ya in there for good measure.

She tossed her phone aside, waiting for the return of the officer. Seconds later, he handed her back her license and registration.

“So, what distracted you?”

Rose gazed up at him, the smile had turned into a smirk. A mischievous smirk. Damn!

“Ma'am?”

“What?” Her voice oozed with a combination of anger and shame.

“Distracted you?”

Rose glanced up at the officer, seeing the smirk on his face made her cringe. She swallowed and started rambling.

“The sun was bright. It was shining in my face... I forgot my sunglasses...” Rose's words meandered together.

“Ma'am.” The officer shouted, Rose stopped talking and looked at him. “Just drive safer from now on.”

“Oh. No ticket then?”

“No. Not this time. Just drive careful.” He raised his hand to his hat, tipped the edge of it and smiled. “Can't have an accident, now can we?”

“No. No, we can't” Rose smiled as she released a sigh from her good fortune. No ticket and multiple orgasms from Vinnie.

The officer started to walk away and Rose started to put her car in gear when the officer stepped back into sight. “Oh, and ma'am?”

“Yes.”

“I suggest next time you leave the foreplay for the bedroom. Would be one helluva situation to explain to a judge.” He smiled, removed his sunglasses and winked at her.

“Oh God.” Rose laid her head on the steering wheel. She waited a few minutes for the officer to return to his patrol car and pull away before she followed suit. She wanted to make sure and give him a head start.
