Weekend Dirty Dozen- Kennedy In Waiting

This is from a WIP that was recently submitted by request - Finding Kennedy. Kennedy's being stalked, family friend Van Nuccio is her savior from the creepy Harold Dobbs- And now, the opening scene of Finding Kennedy.

 Sitting high on the barstool, her long legs crossed with curves in all the right places, Kennedy Parker ignored all the attention from the males in the bar. The right insole of her foot resting on the stool's crossbar at the bottom allowed her left leg the opportunity to swing, enticing those with a view. Men and women alike were mesmerized by her every move. Her foot dangled provocatively, her short black skirt hugging her voluptuous hips and tone thighs, tempting any breathing person.  

Her lush dark blonde hair hung halfway down her back, splaying across her shoulders in a veil, as if it were hiding a treasure beneath the obscure vision. Her waistline cinched where her red camisole shirt disappeared into the waistband. She gave all new meaning to the phrase an hour-glass figure.

On the bar, her finger swirled the rim of her empty glass. Her eyes stared off while her mind seemed to be in deep thought. No smile evident on her lips. Every so often her tongue would flick across her lips to moisten them from thirst the alcohol stole from her body.

Men stared at her, while she remained oblivious to the gawking. Her eyes came out of their trance every few minutes, she reached over, hit a button on her cell phone left haphazardly on the bar.
